An outstanding theoretical physicist Academician Valery Anatolievich Rubakov died on 19 October 2022. 

Valery Rubakov was one of the founding fathers of ITMP. He was a chairman of the Scientific Council of the Institute and took active part in hiring new stuff, development of scientific and edicational projects, supervised research students. His untimely death is a tragedy for our Institute. We express our sincere condolence to his family and his friends.
