I study classical and quantum integrable systems: interacting top models, integrable field theories, and spin chains. In my work, I use solutions of the associative Yang-Baxter equation and related identities, for example, to construct Lax representations and Hamiltonian structures. Together with A. M. Levin, M. A. Olshanetsky, and A. V. Zotov, I constructed a family of deformations of the (1+1)-dimensional Gaudin model with an arbitrary number of simple poles, parameterized by solutions of this equation. Currently, I am studying integrable structures associated with various root systems, in particular the interacting top model of type BC_N, its Poisson and r-matrix structures. The spinless scalar limit of such a system transforms it into the Calogero-Inozemtsev system, and the semi-quantization procedure should lead to spin chains with long-range interaction.
