Senior Researcher Positions in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics

ITMP MSU extends the dates of application for the positions of senior researcher in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics starting in autumn 2022

In addition to research the duties include teaching at master and PhD level (around 2-3 semester lecture courses a year) as well as supervising research students.

Applicants should have PhD in theoretical or mathematical physics and a track record of active research at international level. Fluent English is a requirement.

The starting salary will be 260K rubles per month with possible annual increase to compensate for inflation, and its level may be negotiated depending on qualifications. Funding for research related expenses of 300K roubles per year will also be available. The position is initially for 5 years with possible extension subject to performance and availability of funding.  ITMP provides a relocation allowance, health insurance and administrative support.
