I am interested in extended operators in superconformal field theories and the wide array of nonperturbative techniques used to study them. In my work I mostly focus on the surface operators of the 6d N=(2,0) theories, which I study using a combination of holography, supersymmetry and CFT techniques.
In particular, together with my collaborators I have constructed new classes of BPS surfaces with interesting expectation value. They offer a new playground for precision tests of holography and other methods, as well as give a window into the dynamics of M5-branes.
