Research interests

Ekaterina Kriukova conducts research in the fields of particle physics and cosmology. Her recent focus has been on exploring new physics in fixed-target experiments and studying the properties of feebly interacting particles. In 2025, a modernization project for the Troitsk Meson Factory (TiMoFey) has been proposed in the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Russian Academy of Sciences (INR RAS). One of the tasks of this project will be the search for particles of new physics. Ekaterina has evaluated the sensitivity of TiMoFey to the visible decays of leptophobic B-bosons. Additionally, she, along with D.S. Gorbunov (INR RAS), investigated the processes of dark photon production during the negatively charged pion bremsstrahlung, as well as the processes of the elastic and inelastic dark bremsstrahlung from a proton. Previously, Ekaterina, in collaboration with colleagues from INR RAS, studied supersymmetric extensions of the Standard Model with light sgoldstinos.
