Research interests

My main research interests include the study of modified theories of gravity, in particular Lorentz-violating models, as well as the development of the heat kernel method for such theories. Together with my colleagues, we were the first to derive the beta functions for the projectable version of Hořava–Lifshitz gravity, identify all ultraviolet fixed points of the renormalization group flow, and establish the asymptotic freedom of the theory. This is the first example of an ultraviolet-complete, local, unitary, and renormalizable theory of gravity in four spacetime dimensions.
