ITMP offers several fellowships for PhD students to start on October 1, 2020.
Applicants must have a Masters degree or equivalent in theoretical or mathematical physics before October 2020. They will be expected to participate in the research activity of ITMP under a supervision of the members of the local group, members of the scientific council and other researchers associated with ITMP (see http://itmp.msu.ru/en/institute/) with the aim of obtaining a PhD degree in theoretical or mathematical physics. This fellowship is offered for up to 4 years with the monthly salary of 35-45 thousand roubles (500-650 Euro) after tax.
We expect that a successful applicant will be enrolled in a postgraduate program (aspirantura) in one or another university or research institute for the duration of the fellowship.
The application deadline for a fellowship is June 1, 2020.

2) arrange for (at least) two letters of reference to be e-mailed separately to the same address;
3) name the member(s) of the ITMP local group, ITMP scientific council, or researchers associated with ITMP (http://itmp.msu.ru/en/institute/) who may be their potential supervisors.
Shortlisted applicants may be called for an interview.
