ITMP Seminar "Exact semiclassical results for scaling dimensions of composite operators in the \phi^4 theory"

Title: Exact semiclassical results for scaling dimensions of composite operators in the \phi^4 theory

Abstract: I will present the semiclassical method to determine the scaling dimensions of the composite operators \phi^n in the \phi^4 theory. The results are obtained at the leading classical and the first subleading quantum orders and connection to the large Noether charge expansion will be established. Finally, the computation will be generalized to the scaling dimensions of a family of fixed hypercharge operators in the Standard Model featuring the general Cabibbo-Kobayashi-Maskawa structure. All the results will be shown to agree with the maximum known order in perturbation theory.
