Postdoctoral Positions in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics

ITMP invites applications for Postdoctoral Positions in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics starting in autumn 2025.

Applicants should have a PhD in theoretical or mathematical physics by the start of the position. They are expected to interact with members of the ITMP research group, the scientific council and other researchers associated with ITMP, supervise research of students, participate in research seminars, etc. At present the activity of ITMP is focused in the following areas: quantum field theory, mathematical physics, theoretical particle physics, conformal field theory and holography, string theory, gravity and theoretical cosmology.

The salary will be in the range of 200-230 thousand rubles per month (after tax). Research related expenses of 200-300 thousand rubles per year will also be available. The position is offered for two years with possible extension for one more year.
