ITMP invites applications for Postdoctoral Positions in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics starting in October 2023.
Applicants should have a PhD in theoretical or mathematical physics by October 2023. They are expected to interact with members of the ITMP research group, the scientific council and other researchers associated with ITMP, supervise research of students, participate in research seminars, etc. At present the activity of ITMP is focused in the following areas: quantum field theory, mathematical physics, theoretical particle physics, conformal field theory and holography, string theory, gravity and theoretical cosmology.
The salary will be in the range of 170-195 thousand roubles per month (after tax). Research related expenses of 200-300 thousand roubles per year will also be available. The position is offered for two years with possible extension for one more year.
